Types of Feedback reports

InCAS feedback is comprised of four sections:

• Age equivalent scores– a table which shows the school the age the student is and compares it to the equivalent age they are working at for each section of the assessment.
• Scores Charts– these give the school a more visual adaptation of the information they will get from the age equivalent tables. They show individual student ability profiles that break down the different parts of the assessment, to show on a graph where the student is excelling and where they could benefit from more help.
• Pupil Progress Charts– InCAS is used once per academic year; it is advised to assess the students at the same time every year. Pupil progress charts show how the student has progressed over the years by comparing their most recent results against their previous results.
• Standardised Scores– This report compares the score that the student has received against other students of the same cohort.
