You can test students up until the 31st of August. If you already have contracts for the correct assessment year and year groups, additional assessments will be available automatically.
Absent students that already appear in your student list can complete the assessment in the normal way.
For both the online and offline version, new students that weren’t in your original upload can be added manually via the Assessment Centre. Once the student's details have been added, their passwords will generate immediately.
If using the online version, the students can access the assessment as usual.
If using the offline version, you will need to download an updated pupil list for the passwords to work. Although the passwords will generate automatically, the student details need to be added to your existing assessment files for the passwords to work.
To ensure your students can access their assessments, download a new candidate list zip file from the Assessment Centre and copy the contents into the package’s XML/ subfolder.
The steps for this are:
* Log into the Assessment Centre
* Click the ‘carry out assessments’ menu item
* Click ‘Non-Web Version’
* Click ‘Download Pupil List’
This will download an updated pupil list (zip file) for the software. This pupil list must then be added into the software package:
* Extract the files from the downloaded zip file
* In Windows Explorer (or Finder if using a Mac), navigate into the XML/ subfolder of the assessment package
* Copy the files extracted from the zip file into this XML/ subfolder
Your additional students should then be able to access their assessment as usual.
