The teacher, teaching assistant or appropriate adult controls the computer during the assessment. ASPECTS asks the child to complete activities, and the adult submits the responses. The assessment is adaptive, which means the question sequences respond to the child, moving them on when they get questions wrong and showing more challenging ones when they answer them correctly.
Note: You can stop and restart the assessment at any point.
You should assess the children when they start in the nursery and again just before they leave. This should provide valuable information about their progress throughout their time at nursery.
