School Value Added
This report shows average residuals (the difference between predicted and achieved scores) across a range of subjects. You can view your data for a selected academic year and compare it with either a national or independent sample.Use the key below the chart to compare your school’s data to the selected sample. A white bar shows an expected result. Other colours indicate results that are higher or lower than expected.
The shaded blue areas behind the bars represent the confidence limits of the data. Theseconfidence limits allow you to see whether a positive or negative standardised residual is(statistically) significantly different from zero. Two confidence limits are shown. The inner limit (dark blue) corresponds to a confidence limit of 95% and the outer limit (light blue) corresponds to a confidence limit of 99.7%.
