There are two versions of the software which can be used by schools.
Web-Only Version
If your school has a reliable, high speed internet connection and if the teacher or coordinator is happy with the number of pupils that can be assessed at the same time, then the Web-Only version may be considered.
You will typically be able to assess one pupil for every 1Mbps of line speed*, but this can vary depending on other factors within the school.
*e.g. 5Mbps - you should be able to start the assessment with up to 5 pupils at the same time. The next 5 pupils can start 2 minutes after the first set have started.
Non-Web Version
If the school does not have a reliable, high speed internet connection or wishes to test a higher number of pupils at the same time than the internet connection will support, then the Non-Web version should be chosen.
There is no limit to the number of pupils that can be assessed at the same time using the Non-Web version.
