Generate a report
You can find a list of available reports at the bottom of this page. Here's how to generate those reports:
- Log in to the Cambridge Primary Insight assessment platform.
- Select the ‘Data and Reports’ section from the left-hand menu.
- Choose the report you want to view and click anywhere on the corresponding tile.
- A panel will open at the right of the screen for you to set your filters (you will get the opportunity to change these once you’re in the report). Once you’ve chosen your filters, select ‘Go to report’.
If you want to download a report, you will select 'Download' from the top right of the report you want to download. You'll then need to choose whether you're downloading for the current report view or the entire year group, and then create a file name. Once you select 'Submit', the report will start to generate. You will need to go back the the main 'Data and reports' screen and select the 'Downloads' tab (above the report tiles). The requested report will be appear here when it's ready for download.
Download all scores
This will allow you to download all scores for all of your students in one csv. file. This download does not appear as a tile alongside the reports themselves, but here's how to access the all scores file:
- Log in to the Cambridge Primary Insight assessment platform.
- Select the ‘Data and Reports’ section from the left-hand menu.
- Choose the 'Downloads' tab (visible just above the report tiles).
- Select 'New download' then complete the relevant boxes and select 'Submit'.
- Once your report has generated (it can take a few minutes), select 'Download'. Your report should now be available in your downloads folder, or wherever downloads are stored on your device
Note, the column headers need to be expanded. At first glance it can appear that there are columns with repeated information, but that's not the case. Please expand your column headers before using the data.
Available reports
You will have the following reports to choose from (depending on your package):
- Summary of Scores: This report allows you to view the assessment outcomes for your students as age-equivalent and age-standardised scores.
- Individual Student Report (ISR): This report provides a simple graph and a table showing the outcomes for an individual student in each of the assessment sections completed. Teaching and learning guidance will also be available for Plus users when viewing age standardised scores. Outcomes will be presented at section level in Plus package, and at module level in Core package.
- Report for Parents and Guardians: This report provides a simple graph showing the assessment outcomes for an individual student together with descriptive text explaining to parents and guardians the purpose of each section in the assessment. Only available in Plus package.
- Year Group Overview: This report provides a simple view of the distribution of assessment scores for each year group across your school. Only available in Plus package.
