Should the students avoid giving the same rating to different statements?

We recommend that students should not specifically try to avoid the ranking step – they should choose responses that most closely match their behaviour.

Most respondents will rate and rank at some point, but it is possible to complete the questionnaire, without ranking, by using the full range of rating options.
