Our baseline assessment score reports let you know how your students performed in each module (Vocabulary, Mathematics and Non-Verbal (Patterns)) of the Yellis baseline assessment. These reports help you see each student’s strengths and where they may need more support. This is a good starting point to help you to support them to do their best in all subjects.
Standardised Scores Report
- Useful for school leaders, SENDCOs and teachers of all subjects.
- See selected students’ standardised scores in each module of the assessment.
- Compare your student's scores with other students who have taken the MidYIS assessment. Scores between 85 and 115 are in the average range. Scores below 85 (below average) are highlighted in red and above 115 (above average) are highlighted in green.
- Choose a national or independent schools’ standardisation (comparison) population to suit your school.
- Group your students using bands, percentiles and stanines.
- Download your students’ scores to analyse them in the way that works for you.
Individual student report
- Useful for SENDCOs and teachers of all subjects.
- See an individual student’s standardised scores in each module of the assessment, with the band, percentile and stanine for each score.
- Use the chart to see a student’s profile and identify where they need challenge and support so you can tailor your teaching to meet their needs.
