We’ve made a couple of changes to the “students” area in the Cambridge Primary Insight platform.
In the student dashboard, you’ll still see a list of your students* in both the year group and class views, but you’ll notice that the students’ names are now blue, clickable links. The link will take you to a detailed student profile page for that student.
Editing student details
To edit a student’s details, click on their name, or the three dots at the right-hand side of their row and choose “View Profile”, to access their student profile.
Here, you can make any changes you need to, such as changing their class allocation, or MIS number. Some changes will apply to all the previous years they’ve been added to CPI (like MIS number). Some changes will only apply to the selected academic year (like class allocation). Simply click “Edit” to access the editing panel and make the necessary changes.
Removing a student
Click on their name to access the student’s profile. Here you can choose to remove them from the current year, or any previous years in which they have taken the CPI assessment.
Alternatively, use the three dots at the right-hand side of their row and choose “Remove”. This will remove them from the academic year you are currently viewing.
Extra Time
*Please note that you will now see an “Extra Time” column in your student view. This will also be in your student details import template and export spreadsheet. However, extra time is not available in the CPI assessment - this only applies to secondary students. For CPI students, the extra time column in your import spreadsheet should be left blank. In their student profile view, extra time appears as 0, or shows as “none” if you’re viewing the editing panel.
