We do not recommend retesting a student if their scores seem abnormally high or low. The aim is to capture the most realistic view of a student's development at the start of the year. However, you may wish to reassess them to obtain a more representative overview if the student was upset or unwell during the assessment, or if there was an unexpected interruption during the assessment.
Please remember you should conduct the assessment within 6 weeks of the student starting school.
